Ladies who like to wear ties to their shirts, as I do, are in the right place! Those unusual bolo ties make a perfect eye-catcher and give the outfit a feminine, personal note. They fit very well with a shirt worn with trousers or a [mini]skirt, with or without a coat. As a distinctive note for a professional suit or a business look, maybe also with matching earrings, an ol-tie is surely a good alternative to a shawl or to a (maybe for ladies too) masculine tie.

In the spring of 2004 I submitted the idea for a Glass Beads Bolo Tie as an accessoire for a fashion sketch to the Viennese Ringstrassen Galerien Fashion Award 2004 for young designers. My sketch did not make it through to the catwalk; instead my daughter, at that time 9, was one of the 10 whose work has been first exhibited in glass containers and then presented in the show!
